Red & Black Draped Blouse | Boyfriend Jeans

My boyfriend jeans really get a lot of wear. A LOT. They are just SO dang comfy that I can’t stop myself from wearing them. I’m actually on the look out for a new pair with a darker wash to add to the mix, but these will suffice until I can find those. You know how jean hunting goes… It could take eons. Or is that just me?

I ordered several pairs of fancy “premium” denim that Nordstrom included in its Anniversary Sale and returned all of them. I figured that if I am spending $119 (on sale!) for a pair of jeans, my butt better look FABULOUS. It did not. I did, however, keep this draped blouse. I’ve also been looking for some interesting printed tops and this one fit the bill. I love how is drapes and it will look cute layered under a blazer or sweater during fall as well.

Holy crap… Can you believe it is almost August?

  1. Love the bold red in your top that goes with your skin and lips. I’m such a fan of bf jeans and they’re bang on trend right now. I would love to find a pair of sandals just like these ones, I can see me living in them in the Summer. They look so comfy and stylish.

  2. Couldn’t agree with you more on all aspects. Jeans over $100 definitely need and must look good on us, especially the bum area. I actually didn’t find one item from the Nordstrom’s sale that went home with me so you did better than I did because I’m seriously loving that blouse. I did fall madly in love with the new boyfriend jeans at Jcrew this week. And, no, I can’t believe it’s almost August.

  3. Love the blouse and love the jeans! I was on a premium denim kick for awhile, but purged my entire inventory with the exception of 1-2 pairs that really are great. And I realized, I’d rather buy shoes. 🙂
