I’m sure you are all just dying to hear what happened with that striped dress that I fell off the wagon for. Right? It was a fail. It was ginormous and shapeless and just a big, fat fail. Which was fine, because I returned it. No harm, no foul. I’m glad I tried it because of my #FOMO, but I’m glad it didn’t work because I really am trying to do this whole 100 day no spend challenge.
It’s not easy. I see stuff that I want. So far, I’ve been able to talk myself down because the weather here in Michigan is terrible, and the stuff I want is for warm weather. There is no way I am wearing anything like that until the end of March at the very earliest, and that is a generous statement. The temps were in the negatives with crazy wind and snow this past weekend, hence no outfit photos. Sorry.
I haven’t stopped window shopping. I’ve actually been pinning all sorts of things that interest me. I’m really drawn to black, white, nude, gold and pink lately. Here are some of my favorite items. There is a very high probability that numbers 1, 4, 8, and 12 will end up in my closet. I love, love, love both of those pairs of sandals from Loeffler Randall. No, they aren’t cheap, but I am done spending money on cheap shoes that fall apart. I’d rather have less pairs of shoes that I know are high quality, than a lot of cheap ones that just get thrown out at the end of a season. I’m done with throwaway shoes.
Thanks for stopping by!
