Winter to Spring Transitional Dressing

I have hope. The temps are supposed to be above 40° F all this coming week, and a couple of days we will even hit the 50°s! Do you know what that means? That means the snow will melt! It will be a wet, muddy mess, but the Godforsaken snow will be gone. YAY! Now, I’m not naive enough to think we are out of the woods yet… This is Michigan after all. It’s not totally uncommon for us to get a snow storm in April. However, I have hope and hope is a good thing to have. Am I right?

I find the winter/spring transition period very difficult to dress for. It’s still cold, but I flat out refuse to wear wool skirts, thick sweaters and tall boots in March. So, I try to layer the best I can and bare my lily-white ankles in defiance. TAKE THAT MOTHER NATURE. I’LL SHOW YOU!

Oh, and let’s talk about the elephant in the room, shall we? I failed my 100 day no spend challenge. I made it to the end of February and then said “screw it” and went shopping. Yes, I am a failure. I’m too picky to let items that I love pass me by. So, yeah… I’m done with that.

Thanks so much for stopping by and stay classy, my friends!
