Leopard Blazer

How many blazers are TOO many blazers? It seems as though all I want to wear anymore is a blazer. I’m really loving ones that are patterned or interesting colors. I mean really, one cannot always wear a black blazer. I wear them to work, I wear them casually, I wear them out to dinner with friends, I wear them to church. I’ve been on the look out for a leopard print one for a while, but I hadn’t found anything that wasn’t super expensive. I love this one from Frame, but yeah…  Way too expensive.

I found this one at Banana Republic and it was on major sale, so I decided to pull the trigger. I feel like I should be the lead singer of Las Vegas cover band when I wear this. It’s a little rock and roll, it’s a little cheesy, and it’s SO damn fun.

I’ll let you in on a little secret…  This is my formula for dressing. I wear all black under a blazer. I’ll either wear a black top and pants, or a black dress with black tights. Whenever I’m standing in front of my closet not knowing what to wear I revert to it. It really simplifies those mornings when the coffee is just not kicking in. Why waste precious decision making on an outfit?

  1. Very nice! I see in your link the leopard print blazer from Banana Republic is blue. Did you consider that one b/c that is really eye-catching? Also, I think we might be photographing at the same place today……… ! Any chance did you get invited to pre-screen Lady Bird in Royal Oak? I’m not sure how I got invited unless they were inviting bloggers and I’m trying to figure out if it’s legit.

    1. Hi Julia! So the blazer came in both this option and the blue one. I actually REALLY liked the blue one too, but I thought I might get more use out of this one. I’m never invited to anything… LOL. That movie looks good though.
