So, 2017… That was a shit show.
I’m ready for a fresh start. How about you? Before we kick 2017 to the curb and start in with our new year, new person crap let’s talk about some of the good stuff from 2017. I discovered some new to me things that I really liked. Here’s some of my favorites finds and discoveries from 2017.
Favorite Food Item
Hass Avocado Oil – Trader Joe’s
I use it to make salad dressings. It’s light, delicious, and good for you.
Favorite Lounge Wear
Ready to Rulu Pant – Lululemon
I bought a pair of these for my daughter (the Ivivva version) and loved them so much that I had to buy some for myself. They are GREAT joggers. They are incredibly soft and the styling is fab. There are pockets and they are 29 inches in length, so they cover your ankles. I love them. I’d marry them if I could.
Favorite Make-Up Product
Micellar Cleansing Water – Garnier
I love this stuff. It’s the best makeup remover that I have found. It’s inexpensive ($6.99), gets makeup off easily, and doesn’t upset my skin. It’s a repeat purchase. I’m on my 3rd or 4th bottle.
Favorite Technology Item
Echo – Amazon
We were given an Echo as a gift and I love it. We have it in our in the kitchen and it’s pretty much a dance party in there at all times now. If you have Amazon Prime, you have to access to Amazon Music and the library of artists that you can access via the Echo is enormous. Love, love, love.
Favorite Clothing Item
Open Front Sweater Blazer – J. Crew
This is such a great piece. I love their thick merino wool pieces. They are made so well and last forever. I bought this in camel and I have pondered buying another color, but I just don’t need another sweater.
Modern Loafer Mule – Everlane
Love these. I wore the heck out of them in the warmer months. I can’t wait until it gets warmer again so I can wear them again. Everlane also has some with tassels coming out in a month or so.
Well, that’s about it for 2017. Onward and upward! Happy New Year to all of you. Be safe, and make good choices.
